Standard Professional Development Training
Training Summary: This is beginner friendly training designed to give professionals a better understanding of the specific cultural and health disparities that exist within LGBTQ+ populations. Rather than focus on definitions or allyship, we will be looking more organically at how identity emerges and how professionals can equitably apply their knowledge and training to get the best outcomes for this community. This training will also include tools for process improvement, actionable items to make change, and roleplaying to build on the information that is learned throughout this presentation.
